Eco-Innovation Finalists are Announced
We’re excited to announce the finalists of the Eco-Innovation Challenge!
Following the submission and evaluation of full proposals, 27 outstanding teams have been selected to advance to the final stage of the programme. This includes 16 finalists under the Focus Country Window and 11 finalists under the Greater Black Sea Window.
These finalists represent some of the most promising and impactful eco-innovations addressing pollution and environmental pressures in the Black Sea region.
What’s next?
The finalists will come together in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, on 9–10 June 2026 for the Shark Tank Event. During this event, teams will pitch their solutions to an esteemed jury of experts, investors, and key stakeholders.
Finalists under the Focus Country Window will compete for grants ranging from €50,000 to €300,000, alongside tailored mentorship support to implement their solutions in Moldova, Georgia or Türkiye. Finalists from the Greater Black Sea Window will compete for €20,000 worth of mentorship and technical assistance to further develop their innovations.
This final stage marks a critical step in transforming innovative ideas into tangible, real-world impact for the Black Sea region.
